Hey Neighbor! I'm Pastor Jonathan, and I'm so glad you're here!

I’m married to my best friend, Melissa, and together we have two amazing kids, Autumn and Lincoln. Whether we're cheering on Autumn in theater, watching Lincoln on the basketball court, or enjoying a date night together, family is one of God's greatest gifts to us.

I genuinely love meeting new people and hearing their stories. My passion is simple: to know Jesus more each day and help others discover the hope, joy, and purpose that are found in Him. There’s nothing that brings me greater joy than welcoming people into God’s Forever Family.

Before serving as pastor of Family Church, God allowed me to work in retail, education, and ministry—experiences that have given me a deep love for serving people from every walk of life. I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration in Management (2005) and Master of Business Administration (2007) from Stephen F. Austin State University (Axe 'em, Jacks!), and later completed my Master of Divinity at B.H. Carroll Theological Institute in 2021.

When I'm not at church, you'll probably find me enjoying a good cup of coffee, spending time with my family, reading a good book, or simply investing in relationships throughout our wonderful Van Alstyne community.
